timelab furniture: making gridbeams

Version 2 of the EMCO CNC build:







-the geared steppers are replaced by NEMA23’s for the clamps. I was worried of breaking those gearboxes when the clamps run into the steel beams every time they close. The NEMA23’s also home faster.
-the connectors between the clamps and the steppers are now printed parts, the rubber tube kept failing.
-the setup is now mounted on a steel frame & everything got ruggedised.
-the wiring got cleaned up

The current version takes 6min35s to do a 600mm length.
