My first 3D-printer….

Included here for sentimental reasons…

The first 3D-printer I built, a Makerbot Cupcake. I added guide rods for the X-axis, and rebuilt the XY-stage with sturdier rods.

It had the automated ejection belt, which everybody gave up on, but I really liked for small parts.

It’s been years since I have actually used it. It is safely tucked away in a flightcase in my workshop.
