During the 2024 timelab summercamp, the large Mikaki machine was converted to a Duet-controller and fitted with modified clay-extruders to experiment with different water-based mixtures.

The extruders used were modified versions of the published extruders from:

-Eduardo Charmorro: https://github.com/EDUARDOCHAMORRO/FabricatableTools

-Pjotr Wasniowski: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4805607

The final material used was a white cellulose/methylcellulose/sodium alginate mixture.

To deal with warping, a per-layer drying strategy was implemented.
